Moving to Swanage
Will you be moving to Swanage this year? It’s a lovely seaside resort tucked away on the Purbeck coast. It has a sandy beach, uplifting cliff top walks and a summer Jazz festival. It’s situated in the south east of Dorset and is roughly 6 miles south of Poole and 25 miles east of Dorchester.
Ideally you will need a car, although there is a good bus service which will get you to the train station at Wareham. There are twice-hourly services to Dorchester taking 15 minutes and Bournemouth taking 25 minutes. There is also the Swanage Steam railway which has hourly trains to Corfe Castle.
