Leisure if thinking of moving to Jersey

Finding accommodation on the island is no problem, there are plenty of hotels, B&B’s, apartments and villas for all budgets and tastes. Such as the stunning five star hotel “Longueville Manor”, located in St. Saviour it is a 14th century manor house. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, you will find pretty fountains and little wooden bridges, a woodland which has ancient Sycamore and Oak trees and perfectly manicured lawns so tranquil. There is a swimming pool and a tennis court too.

The rooms are large and well decorated, luxurious but not over the top, some of the rooms have four poster beds and open fire places. The food is outstanding. The old crypt on the grounds has been renovated and is now a smoke house for the kitchen’s smoked fish and meats, so couldn’t be fresher. The home smoked salmon is absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and the staff are extremely attentive, it certainly does deserve the five star rating it has been given, well worth a visit.
