Winchester student to take part in 24-mile walk Saffron Hull, a first-year English literature student at the University of Winchester, is planning to take part in a 24-mile walk from Ann’s Hill Cemetery in Gosport to Winchester on 11th January in memory of 12-year-old Holly Sparshott, Saffron first got to know Holly when she babysat for Holly and her sister Emily. Saffron Hull said: “I used to look after her if her mum ever needed to go out and I used to be quite close to her,” she said. “We became good friends.” Holly died at Naomi House hospice, which provide care and support to life-limited and life threatened children and young people. Saffron, her mother Kim Hampton and her younger sister Serena hope to raise £500 for Naomi House and Jacksplace.
