    Older students have access to a number of good colleges and universities. Forth Valley College has campuses in Falkirk and its surrounding areas. The University of Stirling is nearby and reachable by bus, train, or car.

    Edinburgh has three universities and Glasgow has a further six universities so there is an incredibly diverse and plentiful supply of higher education facilities in the region.

    Falkirk is home to the Kelpies, two 30-metre-high horse heads. The sculptures were designed by sculptor Andy Scott and remain the largest equine sculptures in the world.
