Corwen is a town situated in Denbighshire in Wales. It sits beautifully on the banks of the River Dee beneath the Berwyn mountains. It has a rich history, Owain Glyndŵr, proclaimed himself Prince of Wales on 16 September 1400. From his nearby manor of Glyndyfrdwy, he began his fourteen-year rebellion against English rule. Today in commemoration, there is a statue of Owain on his horse in the centre of town.

Corwen is surrounded by the stunning countryside of the Dee Valley and is popular for hikers and families alike.
