They are free to wander and there is a strict speed limit of 40 miles per hour. The ponies are often meandering onto the roads and you will have to stop and allow them to take their time to cross.
Although there are plenty of places to eat, there is nothing nicer than a picnic in the Forest. With the beautiful landscape and huge variety of birdlife you must not forget to pack the camera!
