Salford Schools & Education
Salford compares very favourably with other towns in the region when it comes to education.
Across the district there are around thirty-two primary schools, and five secondary schools.
Many of the schools in the area have been rated by the Governments education watchdog Ofsted as being “outstanding”, these include St Philip’s RC Primary School and King David Primary School.
The King David High School is one of the few secondaries to be awarded the coveted “outstanding” rating although plenty of high schools have been rated as “good”.
