Moving for a Cure: White & Company Supports Leukaemia Busters

At White & Company, we’re known for helping families and businesses transition to new chapters in life.

But recently, we had the privilege of putting our logistical expertise to use for a different kind of journey, supporting the life-saving work of Leukaemia Busters.

Based at Southampton General Hospital, Leukaemia Busters is a charity dedicated to funding pioneering research into safer, more effective treatments for leukaemia and other blood cancers.

A Personal Connection

Our involvement with the charity is deeply meaningful.

Shin Shahi, a valued member of the White & Company team, also serves as a Trustee for Leukaemia Busters.

When Shin brought to light a logistical challenge the charity was facing, we were eager to help in any way we could.

Providing Breathing Space

The charity urgently needed to collect and temporarily store specialist laboratory equipment while they find a buyer for the items.

Knowing that every pound spent on storage is one less pound for research, White & Company provided transportation and warehousing services free of charge.

Our support offered the charity essential “breathing space” to arrange the sale of the equipment, proceeds that will directly fund ongoing research programmes.
