Leisure if Moving around Birmingham
If you enjoy shopping then you must visit the “Bullring It is situated in the heart of Birmingham city centre and has over 160 shops of all types to choose from. The centre itself was first used as a market centre as far back as 1166, the history of the site is very interesting.
It has been re-developed several times over the years and as part of the Bullring development, existing landmarks such as the Rotunda, the old Moor Street Station, and St Martins Church have been cleaned and restored, and long lost historic Birmingham street names, going back as far as the 18th century, have been reintroduced. Well worth a visit.
A really lovely place to eat is “Loves Restaurant”. Set in a lovely waterside location, in the middle of Birmingham, with fantastic food and wines and decorated in a really easy relaxed contemporary style with great service. A nice way to round off the day.
