The nearest secondary school is The King Alfred School. A coeducational comprehensive school in Highbridge, just south of the town centre.
The school is a specialist Sports College. The facilities of the dual-use King Alfred Sports Centre, which is next to the school site, are shared between the school and the town.
Bridgwater & Taunton College (10 miles) and Weston College (11 miles) are the closest further education colleges in the area, though there are more available further away.
Both colleges perform well and offer a good assortment of courses as well as some degree courses as well.
The closest university sites are the University of Bath, Bath Spa University and University Centre Weston.
All are higher education establishments and again, offer plenty of choices when it comes to courses and qualifications.
