Saffron Walden Property
The busy housing market is a fantastic combination of new homes, period properties, and suburban neighbourhoods where demand exceeds supply.
For new build sites, there has been a huge surge in the last ten years to keep up with demand.
Currently, there is just one new build development under construction.
Linden Homes has a selection of 4 & 5-bed properties available on their Saffron View Estate.
Having a town centre which is an official conservation area means that sometimes a small number of old townhouses and quaint cottages come onto the market, very highly sought after, they are also expensive.
Rural locations which are also very desirable but close to the town include Finchingfield and Thaxted. These villages enjoy good travel connections, but all deliver the rustic charm you would expect from a rural area.
