The market town of Wrexham is situated between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley alongside the border with England. The town combines character, a city lifestyle and the great outdoors.

Finding the right school is an important factor to consider when moving to a new area.
Wrexham has a great assortment of schools, with 15 primary schools and 4 secondary schools to choose from. The Maelor School is rated as one of the best secondary schools and Rhosddu County is among the best primaries in the town.
Wrexham also has a very good college; Yale College of Wrexham located on Grove Park Road. The college merged with Deeside College in August of 2013 to form Coleg Cambria and offers a wide range of courses and apprenticeships.
There is only one university in the town, Wrexham’s Glyndwr University. Opening in 2008, the university has multiple courses to offer and even has its own radio station, Calon FM. Courses vary from art and design to journalism to psychology.

Things to do in Wrexham
Whatever your interests may be, you will find plenty of activities to keep you entertained in and around Wrexham.
For those who want to escape the city, you will find lots of dedicated public open spaces and many country parks within the region that allow everyone to appreciate the beauty of the area.
The National Trust property Chirk Castle is a Grade I listed castle. As well as learning about the history of the building and its inhabitants since 1295, you can explore the beautifully tended grounds.
Take a walk through one of the trails around the castles fascinating 480-acre parkland or discover the stunning landscape full of ancient trees, wildflowers, and birds.
For sports enthusiasts there is a local football club and a host of gyms and leisure centres to discover. There are also plenty of bars, clubs and musical evenings for those who enjoy nightlife.
Located just twenty minutes outside of the town is Whittington Castle. The strikingly picturesque ruins are steeped in history, tales of bitter warfare, romance and legend are sewn into the fabric of the castle.

Wrexham Property
Wrexham offers a great variety of different properties whether you intend to rent or buy.
There are several sought-after locations and roads on which to live and one of the most popular addresses in the town is Marford Hill. Here you will find the road is lined predominantly with detached homes that have views across the Cheshire plains.
