Lincolnshire is vast and incorporates a long coastline, it is the second biggest county in the UK next to North Yorkshire. The SO Festival is an international Street Art festival that takes place in August, offering a variety of outdoor entertainment and takes place in Mablethorpe and Skegness.
The Lincoln Sausage Festival is held within the grounds of Lincoln Castle in October each year and sees visitors tucking into more than 30,000 individual sausages on the day!

Lincolnshire Schools & Education

For urban locations, Lincoln is top of the pile. The city has plenty of great neighbourhoods to choose from, many of which are close to some of Lincolns state grammar schools.
As you would expect, living in central Lincoln is going to be where property prices get a little pricier but even so, there are still some reasonable homes for sale currently such as Lincolns inner-city terraces, many of which have been updated and modernised and cost around £90,000.
Uphill is the most sought-after and expensive area of the city this is a very in-demand neighbourhood where homes often sell for well over £900,000.
Canwick, Nettleham, North Hykeham and Waddington all sit well within a quick journey into Lincoln and offer residents a good work-life balance near to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Homes in these locations start from £220.000.
